Guardians Shane Bieber, Braves Spencer Strider, Marlins Eury Perez all came up with elbow injuries last week and now face 18 months after they get Tommy John Surgery. The NL Central has gotten off to a better start as a division led by the Pirates and Brewers. But the NL West has teams other than the Dodgers struggling to get to .500.

This week in baseball was the first full week and umpires struggled as did closers. Three teams have yet to play a home game!
