In 2023 #Dbacks came from 2-0 down to beat the #Phillies in the NLCS. #Yankees being down 2-0 is not insurmountable. Yankee fans however are going nuts and negative since presumptive AL MVP Aaron Judge has struck out 6 times in 2 games without recording a hit! How will the Yankee fans greet Judge upon his return to the Bronx? Will there be a standing ovation? Mark thinks so.
#Dodgers Shohei Ohtani who was injured unsuccessfully trying to steal second in the 7th inning of game two. He's supposed to play game three with his subluxation of his left shoulder (partial dislocation) which may impact how hard he swings. In case you have not noticed is very hard! Pitching has been better than expected & Freddie Freeman has been spectacular hitting homers in Games one and two - the first one being a walk-off grand slam!
Remember Yankees came from 2-0 down to beat Dodgers in 1978. But L.A. returned the favor on the Yankees three years later in 1981. Don't count out the Yanks just yet. Gordon and Mark give reasons why this series is not over.
